Hi, I'm Orla and I'm the owner/founder/creator of Clear Deodorant. I'm a mother of teenage boys and we live in the beautiful county of Roscommon in Ireland.

A few years back the seed for what eventually became Clear was planted when I started becoming more conscious about the products that we as a family were putting on our skin. It prompted me to look for some natural deodorant for my sons but I couldn't find anything.

At the same time I was becoming more eco-conscious and started thinking about the amount of products which we were bringing into our home that were full of chemicals and that coudn't be recycled.

Armed with loads of newly acquired knowledge I decided to start making my own deodorant.

I tried and tested loads of different recipes and formulations and was really encouraged by the feedback I was getting. I was learning more and more as time went on. I learned about all the different plant-based ingredients that are effective at eliminating odours, while being gentle on the skin. I discovered what ingredients will help the deodorant to glide on smoothly and what product helps with absorbing moisture.

After months and months of testing and trialling I finally settled on a recipe and Clear was born.
